John Martinelli the founded of Mirad in 1991 with 20 plus years of experience in Firmware, Software and Hardware design and a strong background in the field of Optical communications.

John’s experience has included being past President and Co-founder of both Microspeed Inc. and Appoint Inc. In 1991 John founded MIRAD, which has allowed him to devote his energy to his first love, product development. John Martinelli also served as the Director of Advanced Technology for Interlink Electronics Inc. during their greatest growth period.

John has been issued numerous US Patents and has been published in EDN and other industry Magazines. With John’s background he is able to work closely with MIRAD customer’s including Engineering, Marketing, and Public Relations personnel.
